Dry Dock Facilities

Dales Marine Services Ltd. is one of the shipyards in the uk (second in Scotland) which is available to dock vessels over 100m long in either of our two facilities with dimensions being 112m x 21m x 6.5m and 168m x 21m x 7.7m. The docks are always busy with planned vessel repairs and since the re-opening of the Imperial dock in Leith we are now best placed to cope with all the emergency repairs as well. Our company has docked more than 100 vessels in the last two years and hope to double that with the Imperial dock.

Dales Marine Services Ltd. is also well regarded in the supply of labour, plant and materials for vessel mobilisations and demobilisation's, which we carry out not only in Aberdeen but also in most of the deep water ports in Scotland and Northern England.

The premises, adjoining the dry-dock and quayside, affords ease of access for vessel repair.

Facilities include 4 workshops with overhead cranes, forklifts 3-12t and a full range of machinery spread over the three locations being Aberdeen, Montrose and Leith.
