Dales Marine recently supported a long-standing client with the fabrication and welding of a carousel chute support grillage for a ROV Construction Support Vessel (CSV).

Completed at Dales Marine’s Aberdeen facility, the project required specialist fabrication capability, precision welding and detailed quality assurance to deliver the component to the required specification. The work was managed by a dedicated team of eight personnel, who worked closely with the client to ensure the project was completed efficiently and in line with operational requirements.

All welding was carried out to certified standards in accordance with AWS D1.1 requirements, supported by pre- and post-weld dimensional checks and full-scope third-party inspections. The project was delivered ahead of schedule, demonstrating Dales Marine’s ability to provide reliable engineering solutions when quality, safety and timelines are critical.
