Vessel Upgrade - VOS Victory

Fabricate and install deck extension to aft accommodation to accom-modate new daughter craft davit.
Cut and supply new under deck stiffening to main deck, deck 1 and to shell plating in way of new davit foundation.
Fabricate and install new davit foundation frame and securing brack-ets to deck and new extension.
Install new davit HPU in existing storeroom by removing deck head and replacing on completion.
Run all new hydraulic lines and controls as required.
Run all new electrics to davit and controls as required.
New access walkways, handrails and platforms were fabricated onsite to suit new layout. Onsite measurement to suit new arrangement and client’s comments.
Convert secondary lounge room into 2 x 1 man cabins with bathrooms. All outfitting, joinery, plumbing and electrics all done in house on this occasion due to size of scope.

Scheduling

Drawings submitted to class (Lloyds) and approved for fabrication and installation.
Pre-fabrication started approx. 4 weeks prior vessel arrival to dock to reduce vessel time off charter.
Installation was carried out during the scheduled docking and com-pleted on time.
Class surveyor was present during installation and signed off all works.
FAT and trails were completed once out of dock prior to going back into service. Witnessed and signed off by MCA
The work was completed within the 2 week docking schedule.
