'ANGLEGARTH' - overhauls completed

Anglegarth is a Damen ASD designed tug owned and operated by Svitzer Towage.

Designed and built by Damen in the Netherlands it is 33m long, 12m beam with a top speed of 13.5 knots and 66 ton bollard pull.

The Anglegarth mainly operates as a towage tug on the Clyde.

She was docked at Garvel for 13 days to carry out:

Main engine overhauls

FiFi gearbox overhaul

2 x Aquamaster oil change and calibrations

Propeller repairs

Hull valve overhaul

Hull steelwork repairs

Hydraulic systems repairs

Working deck paintwork removed by IHP and new coatings applied

Hull HP wash and painting
