January 2016

Apache II is one of the largest pipelay vessels available in the North Sea. The vessel has a speciality in laying reeled rigid pipes up to 16” diameter in water depths of to 1,500m, and has a range of pipe-in-pipe and electrically trace heated products. Apache II regularly deploys flexible and umbilical products and can install piggyback lines due to its secondary reel. During a port call in Leith, Dales Marine carried out steelwork modifications to the knuckle boom of the main deck crane.
