Argus and Lough Foyle both in Garvel for 11 day workover

Both are suction dredgers owned and operated by Foyle Marine Services of Londonderry Ireland

Argus is 63m long 7.5m beam and was built in the Netherlands in 1970.

Lough Foyle is 75 m long and 9.5m beam and was built in the Netherlands in 1979

Both ships docked at Garvel on separate occasions for approximately 11 days

Workscope included

· Hull wash, paint and zinc anodes fitted

· Hull ultrasonic survey

· Hull steelwork repairs

· Various engine coolers cleaned and pressure tested

· Tank cleaning and painting

· Pipework repairs
