Dales Marine Services Wins Prestigious Port Health and Safety Award at Port of Aberdeen HSE Awards
April 2025

Dales Marine Services is proud to announce that we have been honoured with the Port Health and Safety Award at the Port of Aberdeen HSE Awards, held at Pittodrie Stadium on Thursday 10th April.
This annual award recognises a company that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to health and safety practices across their operations. We are thrilled that the dedication of our team at the Aberdeen facility has been acknowledged in such a significant way.
Over the past 12 months, our Aberdeen site has achieved a 50% reduction in lost time incidents and an outstanding 75% reduction in medical treatment cases. These results reflect the strong safety culture embedded within our operations, and the proactive efforts of everyone who has worked on-site, including our employees, customers, contractors, and crew members.
Receiving this award is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and collaboration of our entire team. We are committed to continually improving our practices to ensure that everyone goes home safe, every day. This achievement motivates us to build on our progress and set even higher benchmarks in health and safety performance.
QHSE Manager at Dales, Mark Massie said, “Receiving recognition from the Port of Aberdeen for the safety standards that we strive for is a testament to the hard work and commitment to safety that, not just our employees have shown, but also those who have visited us over the past year from all the vessel crews to contractors that have carried out work at our Aberdeen Dry Dock.”
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Port of Aberdeen for this recognition, and to all those who contribute to the continued success and safety of our operations.
