Statement regarding incident at the Port of Leith

Dales Marine is currently dealing with a serious incident at our dry dock facility at the Port of Leith involving the RV Petrel. The incident is understood to have commenced at around 8am this morning and emergency services were called shortly thereafter. The emergency services have confirmed that a number of people have either been taken to hospital or treated at the scene and discharged. We can confirm that all those on board and at the facility have been accounted for and our priority is to ensure the wellbeing of all who have been affected.

We are liaising with the emergency services and relevant authorities in dealing with the ongoing incident. At this time, we cannot comment any further.
