Dales Marine work around-the-clock on Skandi Achiever
April 2016
Skandi Achiever arrived at dock for demobilisation work and required a team of 12 working nightshift. Work was carried out over five days in 10 hour shift patterns. Dales Marine began work with removing all sea fastenings on the main aft deck and mezzanine deck. Removals were carried out to the Harkand dive and ROV equipment, which consisted of two ROV containers and equipment within the hanger areas.
Two SatNav domes were removed along with scaffolding and cranes during the course of the demobilisation. Considerable reinstatement of the handrail gratings and raised decks were carried out upon completion of the demobilisation. The fabrication and delivery of a 290m T bar was sent to the vessel, ready to be reinstated on the main deck at a later date.
