Emergency work completed on Highland Endurance
November 2015
Highland Endurance, owned and operated under Gulf Mark, is a well-known anchor handling vessel in the North Sea. Weighing 2750t with a winch bollard pull of 179t, Highland Endurance is capable of almost any rig move.
Highland Endurance emergency docked in Aberdeen due to a leaking propulsion hub. Dales Marine worked to release the vessels tailshaft muff coupling and released the inner and outer seal boxes. Dales Marine moved the tailshaft back in order to gain access for blade seals changes. Dales Marine then refit all vessel parts and refilled the stern tube with oil supplied from the owners.
