The Finlaggan in Aberdeen for annual refit

The Western Isles passenger ferry, Finlaggan docked in Aberdeen during February for the annual refit period.
During the 10 day docking period works on the underwater propulsion was carried out in way of propeller and tail shaft withdrawal.
Main engine overhauls were undertaken along with gearbox and flexible coupling inspections. The vessel underwent the full underwater and topsides washing and painting scope. Leaving Aberdeen Port on schedule the Finlaggan headed back round the west coast to return the schedules sailings
