Full works for SD Impulse

SD Impulse, a Serco Marine Services Tug with an Azimuth Stern Drive, was built by Richard Dunstons and measures at 32m x 10m. The tug docked at Garvel over 15 days for work including the removal of the underwater hull coatings, followed by the application of a new paint system, and tank cleaning and certification.

Work also included upgrading the tugs crew accommodation, overhauling two ME, polishing the propellers NDT, ultrasonically cleaning and testing the coolers, steelwork repairs and electrical repairs.
