Grangemouth is Scotland's Largest Container Port

Grangemouth is Scotland's largest container port and lies at the centre of Scotland’s industrial heartland. Approximately 9 million tonnes of cargo are handled through the dock facilities each year.

As Scotland’s main container terminal, the port handles approximately 150,000 containers per year. As much as 30% of Scotland’s gross domestic product (GDP) goes through the port. It is the UK’s largest feeder port and the only one that exports more than it imports.

With all this going on and the recent movement in the location of some of our vessels we currently have availability for a cold layup berth at our site in Grangemouth capable of taking vessels up to a maximum of 105m in length x 16m beam vessel.

We can also offer cold and warm layup services in Leith & Grangemouth as well as at other UK ports. The berth is available for long or short-term periods at flexible rates.

Some of the other services we offer include: Structural steel fabrication, engine overhauls..., structural steel repairs & pipework, vessel conversions and vessel mobilisation/demobilisation.
