'OCEAN SPEY' - work continues off Ireland
November 2016
The Ocean Spey is an Anchor handling supply tug registered in The Bahamas. The vessel has a deadweight of 1449 tonnes and was built in 2000. The Ocean Spey was laid up in Leith due to the downturn and demand for this type of vessel but then recently changed ownership from Atlantic Offshore to the MainPort Group.
During the purchase Dales Marine Services carried out some minor maintenance, which included the renewal of two Aft Grillages at the mooring stations as well as contracting divers to conduct an in water Hull survey.
The vessel has since sailed and now working off the coast of Ireland.
