SD Oronsay in Garvel for a quick class survey

The SD Oronsay is a cargo / passenger ship owned and operated by Serco Marine used to service military vessels. Built by McTay Marine of Liverpool in 2000. 199grt 28m long and 7.3m beam.

The vessel docked at Garvel for 5 days for a quick class survey including:

- Hull HP washed and painted

- Chlorination of fresh water tanks

- Zinc anode replacement

- Steelwork modifications

- Main engines x 2 serviced

- Pipework repairs

- Electrical checks and reports
