Structural steelwork complete to Forth Group's Caisson Gate

Forth Port's Caisson Gate is one of three gates which keeps Leith’s docks non-tidal. The structure entered dry dock, for inspection to all its underwater steelwork and mechanical fixings, as the structure was hit by a vessel earlier in the year. Dales Marine repaired the large dent and tear located at its side with a 3.5m x 3m insert and renewed its internal stiffeners.
