Vos Discovery overhaul and survey in Leith

This is an ERRV purpose built in 1983 and owned by Vroon Offshore.
Vos Discovery came to Leith for a scheduled dry docking where she underwent full hull wash, prep and painting along with hull anodes being replaced. Sea inlet and outlet valves removed for overhaul and survey. The main propulsion Type: Schottel SRP505/505 had one unit with seal change in situ and one unit full bearing and seal changes.
A number of main engine and propulsion coolers were removed for cleaning and testing and refitted on completion.
Main engine and Auxiliary engines had minor repairs including fuel injector and FW pump replacement.
Davits and Cranes had 5 year survey and load testing carried out successfully.
Tank inspections, electrical testing and supply of a number of tank vents completed resulting in another successful docking for Leith Imperial Dry Dock.
