Vos Venturer visits Leith for Intermediate Survey

Fleet vessel and field support vessel, Vos Venturer entered Leith Dry Dock for an intermediate survey. Dales Marine began work with washing and painting the hull as top priority. This was followed with lowering the anchors and chain to the dock bottom so that the vessel could be HP washed, calibrated, marked and restored back into the locker.

The sea inlet and outlet valves were then removed, in preparation for overhaul and survey, and both Schottel units had input shaft seal changes. On completion Dales Marine provided Pon-Cat with crane hire whilst they carried out maintenance on Vos Venturer’s main engine. Tank inspections and electrical testing were completed to finish the survey.
