Repair and installation work for Ocean Victory

The Ocean Victory, a research and survey vessel owned by Oceaneering International, measures at 62m long with a 18m beam and is 2257 GRT. The vessel docked in Greenock for various work including alignment repairs to the shaft and line boring of both stern tubes and ‘A’ bracket. Garvel Clyde machined and installed new cutlass bearings, machined both the shafts and balanced the propeller blades. A new rudder was then manufactured and installed and further steelwork and pipework repairs were completed.
